About FPLT
A land trust that builds things.
Frontier Projects Land Trust protects land permanently — and, where owners invite it, helps that land become something the whole community shares.
FPLT began when [neighbors watched a beloved hillside get subdivided and decided the next one wouldn't be]. TODO: replace with the real founding story before launch.
What we hold ourselves to
Voluntary, always
Nothing happens to any acre without its owner choosing it. Every easement, every agreement, every trail begins with a landowner's yes.
Permanent, actually
Protection that expires isn't protection. Our easements run with the land through every future sale, forever.
Useful where invited
Some land should be left entirely alone. Some land wants to be a trail, a classroom, a place to sit by the river. The owner decides which.
Straight with you
Plain language, real numbers, and honest answers about what an easement does and doesn't do — including "talk to your own lawyer."
